Show your school colours in the traditional Secondary School Challenge. This 6km event is for everyone in School Year 9 to 13.

• Entry fee is $10 for anyone under 19.

Course

The exact distance is 6.4km and follows the same course and start times as 6km Run and Walk. Find out more about the course.

Secondary School Challenge

Every year Secondary Schools race for the Douglas Roundtree Memorial Trophy. The 2011 winner will be the school with the highest team score. The six highest placings (boys or girls) from your school contribute to the final team score.

The six placings will be added together to get your team score.  The team with the best score (lowest number) is the winner. If a school has entered a minimum of six students the school automatically enters the Secondary School Challenge.

Prizes and Trophies

The top 3 boys and top 3 girls will be awarded with medals (no age categories).
